BACK AT IT AGAIN WITH THE SCUM OF THE EARTH

He really needed a new ref, so I finally sat down an did this in one sitting LOL. Lots of the history is written fast, so I'll update and fix things as I feel it. If you're curious about aspects of Marty's history, Diabolus or Bernard feel free to comment and I'll try to add to it best I can! I altered some of Mart's history, he used to like a girl named Gillian but the plot was really cheesy and cliche. Mart don't need no lady. Mart's got better things to worry about.

Also before people ask, any characters that weren't made my me aren't really associated with Diabolus anymore. It's a long story, but it's okay! I'd prefer to keep those reasons private. Marty's still his same ol' self, things just adjusted and evolved from his story and relationships back from like...2013? He's still got Quinn, the most important friend of all.

Name: Marty Gulbranson

Nicknames: Mart

Height: 7’2"

Weight: 190lbs

Species: Blacorite

Alignment: Chaotic neutral

Planet of origin: Shealvolkai (Sheal-volkai) Now resides on DIABOLUS

History: Marty grew up with a small family on his homeworld, Shealvolkai. He was a 'runt', and due to being an accidental affair child from his mom, his brother and father weren't all that compassionate nor sympathetic to his existence. His brother took on his father's behavior of being demeaning and unloving, and Marty's only escape for comfort was his mom. He loved and cared for his mom, but begun to grow a hard outer shell that made it hard for him to open up to others and let new people in.

Marty began purposefully excluding himself from anything social, resorting to his newfound love for buildings and architecture. Holed up in his room, he dreamed of worlds that he wished to escape to. Setting some pretty big goals for his future brought conflict between him and his family as his passions for creating grew to unrealistic levels. He refused to be beaten down to a submissive stump, and became more persistent in achieving his dreams.

During one particular argument at the (human) age of 17, Marty ran away in a fit of blind frustration, his brother's demeaning taunts being the last straw. He isolated himself in the wilderness little ways away from home to calm and recollect himself; and then he happened across a particularly odd artifact wedged within the roots of a hundred year old tree. Upon contact with the object, it sprung to life, inheriting the Blacorite's color, and opened a portal to an entirely new world. With nothing left to lose, Marty took a leap of faith, leaving his home and family behind so he could reach for the stars.

The world he stepped into was barren, dark, and as far as he knew, uninhabited. He was finally alone. Honing his newfound magical artifact, he gave it the 'appropriate' name of Bernard, his new partner in crime. It was becoming clear that Bernard was extremely powerful, with the ability to materialize physical things with the flick of the wrist. At this realization, Marty knew what he could now do.

Years passed as Marty and Bernard conjured the very world that Marty had envisioned for the 17 years he had been stuck back home. And with the isolation and a magic stick serving as his only friend, the Blacorite's personality began to drastically shift as his newfound power started to take control. He turned the world he named Diabolus into an attraction for aliens all across the universe could gather to and experience the wonders and visions this singular man could behold. His empire grew, with amusement parks and attractions never seen anywhere else in the known galaxies. Diabolus was broadcasted and open for business by the time Marty was 21, and continues to this day as a major hit as a go-to vacation spot for aliens from all around.

BERNARD: Bernard is an ancient artifact owned by a race that had been long extinct for centuries. It was teleported away as the species dwindled and the planet was becoming uninhabitable, to be used as a way back to rebuild and replenish the dying world when the time was right. Many had prophecies, and ideas of who the savior would be to bring back life to the world. However, the race in question never lasted to see the day. It fell into the hands of a dictator who led an assault on Shealvolkai's neighboring planet, Eden, that caused a decade long war. It sat within a collection, a trophy of priceless artifacts, left unused an purposeless. Towards the end of the war, the artifact was deactivated and lost on Shealvolkai, left to rot in the foliage. When it fell into the hands of Marty, it reawakened to its new master. It did as it was programmed to do, opening a portal to the world it originated from, bringing it's new owner with it to rebuild the world that was lost, fulfilling its purpose.

DIABOLUS: The planet itself is slightly smaller than Earth's moon, as Diabolus in itself is essentially a moon to a larger gas giant. Despite its size, Diabolus does have several bodies of water that separates the land. The entire planet is dark, having a very thin atmosphere, and an extremely heavy cloud/gas substance that blankets the planet, equivalent to sulfur from a volcano. Lightning storms are extremely common, but don't pose as a threat for outdoor attractions. Very little foliage grows on Diabolus, flora generally is found in massive greenhouses where it's needed. Any other plant life you see, such as trees lining streets, are fake, used for aesthetic purposes. The total amount of habitable land on the planet is equivalent to the size of North America (including Canada and Mexico). The color scheme is distinctly 'Marty-blue', and being dark 24/7 it invites opportunity for fantastic lighting for the cities and attractions to stand out and dazzle guests.

Once an ancient planet for an extinct civilization, now a place for entertainment for the masses. Some would say he's exploited a historical landmark, but the number of guests outdo any critique or speculation Marty receives. Not like he cares. The planet holds just about everything one would wish to vacation to, from amusement parks to museums of all kinds. Marty supports local businesses who wish to share their products to tourists.

The only ones allowed to live permanently on Diabolus are those who work for Diabolus. Employee neighborhoods are separated from the mass amount of tourists. They have private commuting systems and are accommodated according to their needs.

That said, all guests are specifically accommodated to enjoy Diabolus to the best of their ability. Obviously with thousands of alien races, each come from different worlds with different environments and needs. Marty hires specialists to research and act accordingly to new races wishing to visit. Hotels may be made to accommodate to certain needs, and provide suits or regulating equipment so the species is comfortable and can freely enjoy what Diabolus has to offer.

In the capitol of Diabolus, Marty lives in a tall-ass skyscraper smack dab in the middle of the metropolis city. He can freely teleport to wherever he's needed with Bernard, and can conduct business accordingly. The capitol is a hot spot for tourists, and the most expensive. The largest amusement park of Diabolus sits on the shore of the waterfront, and many high class restaurants, galleries, and venues can be found within the city.

"By far one of the most unpleasant, annoying aliens you will ever have the pleasure of meeting"

Seems like Zeek is in stiff competition here. Let's see who is the MOST annoying!
