Kingston and Ashby Ref Sheet

Update for round 2:
Yeah a new ref, all the info should be the same, I'll provide the old ref though in case I missed something xD But my style drawing King has changed a ton since this ref so I figured I'd update. (And his wheels too? Jeesh it's changed xD)

And I also blew up an image of Ashy with my epic tiny-bird drawing skills. You know she looks perfect... And also since her pallet seemed to keep changing every doodle I'd do of her so I finally laid down the final xD

The only real damage done was Ashy's foot from Dunce, but that's about it xD

Name: Kingston (King)

Breed Base: Great Dane

Age: 8 1/2 (Human Years)

Gender: Male

Abilities: King truly only has his brains and the metallic claws on his forepaws, he's generally strong because of his size and breed, with a broad sort of figure.

Strengths: For the most part, enough sleep and a small walk will get him going. For his age, his muscles are actually nicely toned. He has a lot of smarts and strategy-making when it comes to puzzles or so.

Weaknesses: Of course for one, his age. King is about 59 or so in dog years, so his bones aren't the strongest, and he isn't very fast. The shopping cart wheels on his back feet (because his feet had been injured and chewed off, yeah) can rust easily and stick to anything metallic because it's magnetic, not to mention they are really noisy and squeaky. He can get tired pretty quick also, if he could run (or roll), he could only maintain a good speed for about a minute, then he needs to rest. Last but not least, he loses the specs, he's blind as a bat. Plus he can only see forward, so it'll be blurry on either side of him.

Personality: Being at the age he is, Kingston is very polite to everyone, whether they are rude or as nice as him. Sometimes he has moments where he'll forget something, (slight memory loss and dimmed hearing), and so somebody talking to him may have to repeat themselves once or twice. When it comes to competition though, he may lower his 'nice-ness' and become very strict.

History: Kingston had traveled on a ship from the UK several years back and moved to a town with his owners about several hours away from Pripyat; he was about 2 at the time. Then after his owner had passed, he was left alone and got out walking the turf for a day or so. After reaching the town of Pripyat, he met the little Cordon Bleu Finch who he decided to title, Ashby. The little bird sat beside him as he scoured the town as the years passed.

Likes: Tea Cakes (when he could find them), Ashby, the sunset, sleeping, reading, his top hat, intellectual conversations.

Dislikes: Puppies, his wheels, the heat, being awoken too soon, walking for long distances.

Other: Kingston has a British accent (somehow you can incorporate I guess) so he can be a bit... Snobby... At times.


Ashby:
She now has an injured left foot.
Age: 6 (idk if that's a usual lifespan lulz)
Personality: Doesn't talk, but sticks around King at all costs.


Well, after a little bit of consideration between myself and chatting with ~pyromaniac1992 I may decide on trying out for

At first I was thinkin' a saluki, but then it hit me that Great Danes are just as awesome.

I wanted to make a badass dog (what's new) but then I added spectacles, and it took a whole new direction XD I love this guy already XD

Soo yeah! I may be using literature with this for the audition
